For over 10 years, Okaywood - under its own management - has been responsible for sawing, drying, and planing oak wood in Romania. Thanks to the availability of its own planing mill and kilns, we have acquired a prominent position in the timber industry. This has resulted in a professional and reliable network with only certified suppliers, entirely sustainable in line with current standards.

FSC CERTIFICATION
Okaywood BV is proud of this certification. The FSC certification (Forest Stewardship Council) ensures that our wood product raw materials come from responsibly managed forests. A forest concession qualifies for certification only if it meets the FSC requirements for good forest management. An independent certifier verifies this.

CO2 REDUCTION CERTIFICATE
For the past 2 years, we have received a certificate from our carrier LKW Walter; Combined Transport road - rail/short sea CO2e Emissions Calculation GLEC Framework accredited, EN16258 compliant and based on WTW (Well-to-Wheel) in 2022, thus contributing significantly to climate and environmental protection.

We are familiar with all standard dimensions but also specialize in providing custom solutions. All types of oak wood dimensions can be tailored to your needs. Packaging and/or wood can be provided with barcoding if desired.
Planed
Okaywood planes and dries wood in-house in Romania. Equipped with a reliable production line, we are able to process the wood and/or package it according to your specific requirements. This may include oiling or possibly spraying wood.
Semi-finished
We manufacture solid oak panels with fixed lamella widths in thicknesses of 15, 18, 20, 24, 30, 40, 50, or 60 mm with lengths up to 600 cm for thicknesses of 40, 50, or 60 mm. It is always possible to produce panels according to your specifications, with the minimum order quantity being 27 m3 based on the volume of the drying chambers.
FINAL PRODUCTS
In addition to our regular program, we also produce Oak garden screens in the size of 1800 x 1800 mm and strips 10 x 120 mm screwed with stainless steel A2. We also have a program in Robinia/Acacia sheep fences in heights of 60, 90, 120, or 140 cm on rolls of 500 cm length.
